When you teach . . .

 

A. Lecture for more than 5 to 7 minutes without significant student activity/talking (such as preparing a case, presenting example responses, etc.)

 

B. Provide detailed information so students thoroughly learn all the key skills right in the beginning.

 

C. Email ballots with comments within 2 hours of the end of debates.

 

D. Students should present each day of class and you should provide feedback, redos, etc. for their speaking so they speak clearly (and hopefully persuasively) and they mostly look toward the judge (instead of at notes/computer/screens).
