Class 2 Beginners

 

BEFORE CLASS:

Bring draft of your affirmative case and responses to neg cases. Be sure to check the evidence file that will get posted on this page.

Bring Pen, Paper, CHARGED Tablet/Laptop with power cord.

 

In Class: You’ll learn cross-examination, engage in a short debate, learn about value and criteria, and get more details on preparing cases.

 

In the evening, students should work on their negative cases and responses to cases.

AFF AND NEG CASES SHOULD BE COMPLETED. IF NOT—USE THE CAMP SCRIPTS.

 

 

Class 2 Returners

 

BEFORE CLASS:

Postings show you which side of the debate you are on,
who you are debating, who your judge is and what room to go
(but confirm with instructors as rooms/rounds often change due to absences).

 

In Class you will engage in a debate and also learn advanced debate theory/skills.

 

On the last class day, class may go a bit late for recognitions and awards.
