Welcome to the
INTERPRETATION
Climb Camp Program!

At all times treat each other positively and supportively.

Problem? Contact your lab leader, Jim Hanson or your parent ASAP. You can leave the room and talk to Jim or our greeter too.

Interp

You should prepare your intro and cutting of your play, poetry, and/or prose.

AND be thinking of how you will perform/speak your characters/prose/poetry.

In Class, you will present your Interp. If you aren’t ready—we’ll put you into the Impromptu Speaking Lab.

What to include in your Interp Speech:

--short “teaser”—a short cutting from your piece(s)

--intro explaining the piece, stating the author and title, and the argument/point you think it makes

--the longer cutting of your piece(s)
